ajw1970 -- I've submitted an inquiry to a contact at GD. When I get a response I'll post it (or hopefully they'll respond themselves here on the forum).

Usually these are in June, or around that time.

        Country Campers nailed it!

ajw1970 The reply from a GD rep: Industry wide, it is typically June. But this can change depending on supply chains.

It doesn't necessarily correspond to the model year. At the RV show, we bought a 2023 2600RB model based on it having the solar panel, and the on-demand hot water heater, and a newer fabric. When we checked the VIN assigned at the dealer, the 2023 at the dealer did not have all those upgrades. Turns out those upgrades were applied starting 11/1/22, though some 2023's had already been manufactured. Grand Design was great in changing over to an upgraded 2023 without a problem. Just had to wait a couple weeks.

Very true. The year will change on existing models but the actual implementation of changes may not. My '19 is in all actuality an '18 based on the trailer build. Later 315RLTS' that are "2019" models are different in subtle ways (thermostat location, exterior 120vAC outlet, etc).

Even trailers with very close VINs can be significantly different based on the availability of components. A friend has a 297RSTS built not too long before my 315RLTS but his trailer has Dometic a/c units that are significantly louder than the Coleman Mach units in my trailer. I could go on and on...
