Our interior cameras are used for that purpose as well as monitoring a weather station so we can keep an eye on interior and exterior temps while we are away during day trips and running errands. I do not know how much data they use as we have unlimited data with the T-Mobile home internet.

Ok this question will show my ignorance - I only have a WIFI hotspot (Verizon) and the plan is to only turn this on when I'm not at the RV to see what's happening (did the dog chew the couch to pieces, etc. ) Is this reasonable?

As well as the integration with Alexa (Alexa will announce when motion is detected). So far I am happy with it! We currently have 5 exterior cameras and 2 interior. I especially like the life of the batteries, in a year and a half we have just started replacing the original batteries in the cameras.

Hi, I've recently viewed some YouTube video's about installing a Ring Security system on their RV..... has anyone in the community done this? If so, what is your opinion of this system? Thanks,
