  • Portable Flag Pole and Flag Made in the USA for Campsite

I'm looking for a portable flag pole that we can take camping to put up on our site. I've seen them made out of PVC. I want both the flag pole and flag to be made in the USA. I do not use Amazon. If anyone has a link for a place that sells them, please let me know. Thank you!

    Hello CampCinci,
Flags are a fun way to personalize at the campsite. We have been doing that for years. It started with our first tow behind toy hauler that did not have slideouts and had one very long, (almost full length of the trailer), awning. We used just the cheap 3 piece flag pole kits that comes with a flag and just tie strapped the flag poles to the awning arms, (see pic) Click image for larger version

ID:	113862 . They work great, easy to attach and take some fairly strong winds. Since then, I have switched out the 3 piece poles for 10 foot 1/2" diameter conduit that works super for a long flag pole and no need to try and keep the pole sections together while setting up. Not promoting Amazon, but good place to look up what is available. The flag pole kits we first got were from Target or Fleet Farm, I don't remember...lol. Just a standard house style flag pole kit and flag, they generally come with and American flag works great. Don't always need to spend big dollars at the RV stores or RV only products. These are just a couple ideas, hope they help...good luck!!!!

I purchased my flag pole from Uncommon USA (link below). They are very pricey, but superbly built and have withstood strong winds and the test of time. I use the pole not only when camping, but it's also my primary pole for home display.

I also purchased the flag pole stand linked below. I place it under the hitch of our travel trailer to mount the pole.

I found them at a campground recently with some great folks flying their flag. They directed me to an online site to find the diagram. Now this is not my picture, but I found the instructions sheet on Pinterest. I hope it helps. Good luck
