  • Insurance challenges with NGIC

With our Solitude S 2930 I ran into a tree on a curb and damaged the front cap, as well causing interior damage to the upper cabinet. We took it to Tarpley RV in Durango and they did an estimate on the damage. NGIC sent an outside contractor who tok pictures, and insurance did their estimate. The insurance adjuster has contacted and negotiated with Tarpley, and have come to an agreement, with a discrepancy on the interior labor. I was led to believe that NGIC would pay for the current Tarpley estimate, and agree on a supplement on the interior. My issue is that this process has dragged on for over 4 months as we are work camping in Pagosa Springs, CO. Our plan is to leave here the end of September and return to our winter park in Kerrville, TX. We are full timing, we will have to work with a shop in Texas. If NGIC had been prompt as they say, this could have been concluded! We have total ownership of our RV, no loan. Will appreciate any input from all!
