Tweaked Bathroom Roof Vent - 2600RB

Previous owner damaged the transparent cover.
Looks like the hinge was pushed back so the cap leaves a 1.5 gap opposite the hinge side.

Can I replace the hinge component without replacing the entire vent?

Maybe? You'd likely have to buy the replacement assembly and then see if the top portion can be cannibalized. Replacing the entire assembly is not terribly difficult.

Consider the option of upgrading the OEM vent to a MaxxAir or something similar. See https://gdrvowners.com/forum/operati...ce-help-please for one of many discussions on this topic.

It may be replaceable. https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Vents-an...VK1020-19.html or try the local RV shop. If you can pull the old one off it helps. I think most shops carry the replacement caps as they tend to get UV worked and brittle.

Another possible source is an RV surplus or recycling place for matching "used" parts.

The "frame work" is aluminum and may be easily manipulated back to where it needs to be.

I have replaced the dome om another camper we used to have. It was easy but there was no damage to the main structure. Looking back I see Joseph is on this as well.

Same here. The dome comes with the upper hinge assy attached.
