  • Tree limb damage

Had a big limb strike the top of my camper snap and nailed the side on the slide out causing two panels to be dented.
before making an insurance claim wanted to see what a local guy would charge for replacing panels if I provided the panels.

One the Transcend 265BH which size would I need since they are precut. It’s 108 inches showing . How much overhang do they require for stapling under the trim?
The only one exposed to measure is 111 inches on the very bottom.
I know shipping is crazy from GD I’m fine with that as long as it comes not damaged.
    Any info is helpful

I am not completely sure but I think the panels are put on from bottom to top. The first bottom piece is hooked to a rail and then stapled at the top, next piece is hooked to the first piece and then stapled at the top, and so on, might be nailed even instead of staples. I would think the panels should be about 1 inch behind the trim, depending on what size the trim is. I would suggest to remove the trim to be sure when ordering.

I would guess the panels run the full width of the slide or close to it. Extend the slide and look at the side wall of the slide where the trim is. I believe the trim is Tee shaped so you may not be able to see it on the sidewall of the slide, HOWEVER you may be able to look up from UNDER the J-Wrap and see the side wall panel.
