  • Imagine Roof material

I'm under the impression that all Imagines have a TPO roof, however, is that true or only for those manufactured beginning in a particular year? TY

Ty Jim, I believe my MY 20 is also, just looking for clear confirmation. I’m sure Brittany will chime in. Travel safe.

This previous thread has some interesting info: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/exterio...-roof-material

Finally, colan gave a presentation at the National Rally last year. I hope he doesn't mind me plagiarizing a few slides:

In this second slide what he's showing is if you take down the interior shroud of the fan you'll find where they cut the roofing material and folded it in. If it is the same color on both sides (white) it's TPO. If the bottom is black it's EPDM.

Again--credit and thanks to colan for this information! (I learned a lot at that seminar!)

Hi Dave and Sue! Yes, the roof is TPO. We use the Alpha super flex membrane which is supplied to us by Alpha Systems - if you are wanting to do a little more research.

Can someone clarify why GD used TPO on some units and PVC on others? I've done my research and understand the diff's. Thanks...
