We have a 2019 Reflection 28bh. The black plastic corner trim piece on the bottom corner of the front cap seems to have a weep hole in it. I am seeing water drip from the hole and wondering if this is normal or an indicator that I have a leak in the top front cap joint seal.

The silicone that is used on the edges is hard to tell if has a good seal so you have to look close. Also if you have traveled in the rain it is possible for spray to get up under the over hang where the pin box attaches to the frame.

I’ve ordered Alpha self leveling and non-level sealant for TPO material for the top and perimeter joints and will remove all of the old stuff before resealing. I will also remove the old stuff at all roof penetrations and reseal.
I will eventually remove all of the silicone on the side seals, windows, doors and hatches and wipe down with acetone and denatured alcohol before resealing with either geocell proflex ot sikaflex for a better long term seal.

For anyone else that has noticed the water dripping from the weep hole in this lower corner trim on the front cap. I talked to a Grand Design tech this morning and was told that this is not a problem. It is designed this way to let out any water/condensation that has collected/formed in behind the screw cover on the front cap side trim. Glad I called Grand Design.
