  • What washing tools are folks using on thier RV's?

    OK
My trailer needs a bath (I do to probably ). Went to dig out my Walmart extendable wash brush and found it in sorry state. It was a cheep extendable one you attache a hose too. Did a lousy job if I remembered correctly. A lot of do overs after drying.

So what RV washing tools have folks found that work and are durable?

    Thanks - Keith

That is the same brush I use. I buy a new one every couple years. I use mine on my roof as well.

I haven't washed mine enough to determine the durability of the brush.

I bought the Wash Wax All kit at the Rally. We don't have a place that we can use water to wash with. Tried the kit when we got home, and it worked great. Took maybe 5 hours to do the whole thing (except the roof), but it was really dirty and had a lot of bugs to remove. It should take less time the next time if I do it more often.

Wash Wax All has been all I used on previous Reflection and now the new Momentum. Love that product, the extension handle / mop heads are a must in my opinion.

Have been using a Clean-Rite "3 sided" brush and 8' heavy duty extension pole sold as a unit for nearly 2 decades. I do not hook up the hose to use it as that is such a waste of water. I spray down the RV or vehicle, trailers, etc. and then dip the brush into a soapy bucket of water and brush away. Very pleased with effectiveness but now my brush is starting to wear out after several hundreds uses. Looking for a replacement 3 sided brush but having difficulty finding one.

If I could only get Carol to use it.......I could watch more sports and go hunting more to provide food for the family !

If you are asking me, the black mounting piece looks just like what I have. The bristles, however, on the one I have are a white soft cloth type material. The blue and green ones in your links appear to be the nylon harder bristles similar to what many automated touch cars washes have of which I try to avoid to prevent swirls and possible scratches.

Thanks for sharing the links........I need to do some more checking now !

Some pictures of our brush/pole taken a bit ago.

I sure like the looks of that soft brush - its held up well for the use you say it has.
