Coiled spray hose that came with unit does not fit the coupling on off side of unit. Is it supposed to?

Coiled spray hose that came with unit does not fit the coupling on off side of unit. Is it supposed to?

Can you define doesn't fit? Are the male/female fittings totally different? I know mine can be hard to connect, especially if the plumbing system is under pressure with City water connected.

Thanks, needed some lube on the locking pin. Tight fit but works.
