  • Tie down?

Since my 2600RB spends about 85% of its life sitting in my yard, should I invest in tie-down anchors and heavy ratchet straps for the heavy winds we get in hurricanes? Or pack up and go elsewhere one is threatening? We live in eastern North Carolina and have these storms fairly regularly.

Last storm we had, I filled all of the tanks the best I could. The extra ballast from the water in the tanks increased tipping resistant by a lot. I do have a way to empty the black and grey tanks into the city sewer using a macerator pump.

Note: I did calculate the tipping of the trailer on it's stabilizers with the extra weight. This is a calculation you will need to do yourself to determine if ballast water is sufficient for your situation.
