  • Noticed these strange lines on the exterior wall after a rain?

Any ideas what they could be? Supports from the inner wall? Why would they show on the outside and prevent water from beading? Just thought it was weird and figured I'd see if anyone else has this? Thanks - Danny

Studs and cross-members in the wall structure. I see the same thing on a dewy morning.

I'd recommend you take detailed photos of those lines. They are the aluminum studs in the wall and they show up sometimes where there is a temperature differential between the inside and outside, and a lot of humidity. It can be helpful to have photos in case you ever need to locate the studs in the future.

I've seen the same lines. As mentioned by others, it's the wall framing. The reason for the color change could be water droplet size and the lighting used. The AL framing on my unit typically has much smaller water condensation beads compared to the areas around it.
