There are endless options to use on a gelcoat finish. Based on a similar thread (which I can't find...) I use Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. Works great.

I'm a former aviation guy and as far as I'm concerned, if it's good for the fly boys and girls, it's good for me.

On my two previous rv’s I used meguiars flagship marine. It worked really well but took a long time to complete.
Meguiar's Flagship Premium Marine Wax, Boat Wax and Polish, 32 Fl. Oz https://a.co/d/dcVXrdO

When we bought our Solitude we were in a park that forbid washing using their water (I think they also owned a rv wash business) I had a mobile wash come and do it once and the charged $385 for a basic wash. After much research I purchased this kit from Aero Cosmetics and could not be happier. I am able to wash and wax almost the entire unit without a ladder. I do get on the roof to ensure good coverage on the front cap and use a ladder to get some middle areas on the front cap.

I use Maguire's wash and wax. Easy with good results.

An extendable painters pole with a soft brush will work well.

Well as fast as I see some folks towing, this should work well.

OK, I waxed 2 front caps and gave up. I now use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 on the entire camper. Yes a good was job would help, but my math and shoulders even with a power buffer think otherwise. I have the older G6 from Griot's (https://www.griotsgarage.com/g9-rand...ital-polisher/) and doing 33' of sidewall X2 plus the cap and the rear was 2 days.

You beat me, Joseph. Took me 3 days including the wash and roof cleaning. (I have a newer G6, but it's still a lot of work!)

I use the Meguiar's Flagship Premium Marine Wax in the spring when the trailer comes out of storage. I (then) use the wash n wax that Guest references above for routine cleaning and protection.

This past season I tried the Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax https://www.amazon.ca/Meguiars-Hybri...49-spons&psc=1 and liked the result very much. It is very strange stuff, though... kinda like washing with a bucket of petroleum jelly. The shine and longevity is impressive.

A wash & wax shared learning... don't let your windows air dry, use a towel. The spots are terribly annoying and difficult to remove.

This Wash/Wax/All stuff really has to be tried to be believed. I bought some last year for use on an airplane, but I use it on cars also, and will use it on the RV. It's available on Amazon for convenience.

It is by far the best stuff I've ever used - spray it on as though you were cleaning a window with Windex. Wipe it around with a microfiber cloth until it is basically dried. Done - surfaces are more slippery than any wax I've used. I use it on both the airplane's windscreen and the cars windshield. It sheds water from a windscreen just like Rain-X does, only infinitely easier to apply. Bugs come off the leading edges of the plane well, so it should be equally good for the front of an RV in this regard.

I don't really have a data point for longevity in weather, but I think it does well.

ID:	97713 I use a Meguiars car wash soap that I get at Costco and then a Meguiars detailer spray for protection. The front cap gets waxed with Collinite to aid in bug removal. The advantage of having indoor storage is huge. The finish on my 337 is shinier now than when it was new

                          HMMM....
Is this like asking about the best oil for your tow vehicle....LOL!

                          Has anyone explored Chemical Guys?

The toyhauler is a lot to wash and then hand wax. Not sure my shoulders could handle it. Not enough Motrin in Walmart.

                          Thanks.

I'll start a war but the best oil and filters are what your vehicle was developed on. Tens of thousands of hours are spent in the dynamometer, then in vehicles under every perceived condition before its sold to the public. However as long as the oil meets the recommended SAE viscosity and is API certified, the oil should be ok to use.

We never waxed any vehicle in development but for salable cars if a newbie sprayed those shiny treatments inside the vehicle, it was a big sin since it changes the appearance of the interior forever. I use Maguiar's interior cleaner that does not make the panels shiny. Some like shiny though and that's just fine.
