We just booked a core of engineers campsite and the site's amenities say RWES. So W=water, E=electric, S=sewer, but what does the R mean? I tried google but must be searching wrong because I could not find anything.

    Thanks in advance.

REDMAN CREEK RECREATION AREA near Wappapello, Missouri. You might be right about "recreation"

It's the name of the loop. Strang name, but we are talking about the corps of engineers. The amenities are listed under each site. It looks like a nice place.

                Dave27.
I believe you got it. On recreation.gov it list the loop as "Reas". We try to stay mostly in COE Parks and state parks. First time I've run accross it. Thank you very much.

As mentioned earlier, its how they designate the various sections of the campground. There are multiple camping loops and each has a 4 letter designation. The letters have nothing to do with amenities of the loop.
