    Hi Mike,

I have seen those lifts before . . . but never so nicely “tucked away” when stored. Probably wouldn’t lift the generator over the hitch . . . but could be useful for a lot of other tasks. Good find! (Is there a PA version LOL)

On the long bed the stack gets a bit heavy, and im toying mentally with a canister roll up next time.
          Neil,

I had a soft tri-fold where the composite/plastic mount over the aluminum cross member fatigued from creep and at 80 mph it left in an instant. Thankfully nobody ended up wearing it and I did not attempt to retrieve it in the median. Moving to the full length aluminum rails with 6 clamps has built some confidence since that time. LOL

The two composite clamps that once held it to the truck bed were still attached when I got home.

Your cover may be built with higher quality clamps.

I now have a hydraulic lift table to get things in the bed https://gdrvowners.com/forum/gdrv4li...thier-best-not

Once I have the truck and my Retrax Pro rolling cover on (it locks in any position) I will try out some for the suggestions. If/when I get the soft start installed I will only need to carry one generator to run things boondocking.

UMMMM. The mounting of the crane makes me cringe beyond belief. I'd be worried that it would bend the bed, or worse pull the brackets on the bottom through. Not to rag on the new Fords, but the AL beds might take a pretty hard hit on the bracket, even the New GM Composite beds would not like that thing bolted to the floor.
