I did not see a place where I could upload a photo in the signature section. Also, I have not found where you can add an avatar.

When you got to "User Settings" move your mouse , if applicable" to where the avatar picture is , then in the lower right corner there should be "edit avatar" this is where you can upload a picture. I figured out how to create text for the signature. Can I add the map of states we've been in? I have a copy as a gif file.

GD admins have asked us to not use photos, maps, or other "stuff" in our signatures. It does that for some reason. When you first post the signature is not there. Hit F5 (refresh your screen) and it will show up. All I did was hit F5 on my keyboard (refreshes the browser window) and now I can see my signature:
