    How long does it generally take for Grand Design to authorize Warranted work on coaches? My 230RL has been in the shop for nearly 3 months for covered repairs.

    The “communication” usually falls apart between the dealer and Grand Design. You can contact Grand Design Customer Service with your VIN to learn what the dealer has requested and the approval status from Grand Design. Usually a few days turn around if the dealer provides all the required information.

      I second this. It's very convenient for the dealership to blame GDRV. The customer service number is 574-825-9679. Like Rob stated, have your VIN handy and they can tell you exactly what and when the dealer asked for. Don't be surprised if the dealership has never contacted GDRV. And if they are on top of it, the hold up may be with replacement parts shortages. Either way, GDRV can get you up to date.

          It's on the "business card" (along with their phone number) on this forum's home page, right side.
          Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. Unless specifically mentioned otherwise, we have nothing to gain should you choose to purchase a product or engage a service we discuss on this forum.

            Grand Design's customer service e-mail. customerservice@granddesignrv.com. But I have heard that most owner's get faster service if they call.
