Just wanted to say hello from Mid-Missouri! Not new to the RV life, but new to Grand Design. Picked up the rig a week ago, still figuring things out. Found a few items to take back for warranty, but overall happy with the purchase.

We debated quite a bit over which to get. Turned out, availability made our decision for us. It was the only 376 the dealer had. lol

I have a 2021 376THS and ours don`t have the residential refrigerator. Ours had a fault code and i called Norcold, they referred me to a mobile tech in my area to correct the problem since it was warranty related. While talking with him i told him that i wished we had the above mentioned refrigerator and he said they didn`t hold up as good going down the road and plus if they needed service. Most mobile techs couldn`t work on them that usually a residential type tech would have to perform the work especially if it was still under warranty. This man had over 20 years experience.

I went to Home Depot and bought a LG residential refrigerator. Had to do some legwork to find the exact dimensions so it would match the factory unit.
it's lighter so a weight savings.
It works 150x better.
It's 24cu/ft compared to 18. (Yes in the same opening.)
Maintains temp way longer when switched off. (I don't run it while we drive)
Looks great.
Much cheaper than the RV units. Freezes ice cream.
I've had it for two years, and it still works great.
However, you need the DC capacity and a half decent inverter to run when off grid.
Once you've gone residential I don't think you'll go back....
