  • Cleaning RV antifreeze

So the previous owner apparent spilled alot of RV antifreeze on the laminateflaminate

    And let it dry.

I quickly tried some multi surface cleaner, but it didn't seem to dent it.

    Any suggestions?

What is the damage that you are trying to repair?

I would almost think to try hot water. Antifreeze dried should just be sticky , hot water may break it down to a liquid enough to clean up.

So I didn't notice the autocorrect error (I posted from my phone) till just now. It's not laminateflaminate. It's Laminate Flooring. That one got me chuckling.

I should have a few hours today, i'll give it some elbow grease, hot water, and more multi-surface cleaner.

I though the laminateflaminate was quite appropriately named .

That pink stain is going to be tough. You have to be really careful with the cleaning products . . . the surface of the laminate flooring is far more "fragile" than you would think. Ours discoloured and lost its shine from water that seeped under the plastic tray where the dogs' water bowl sits. I might try to "bleach" the pink stain to less visible, but I don't think you will be able to remove it. As the cleaners alway say on the label . . . try this in an inconspicuous location first.

Those stains might not be antifreeze . . .
