Broken Mirror in Bathroom - GD Reflection 303 RLS

We’ve had our 2021 GD Reflection 303RLS for less than a month. Today I went in to load some things in the medicine cabinet above the bathroom sink and when I opened the cabinet door, the mirror crashed to the ground narrowly missing my poor dog (who is now scared to death of the killer RV) and my feet and smashing to pieces on the floor. After I got the mess cleaned up and stopped cussin’ over the huge tear in our brand new floor, I got really mad. That mirror was glued in so shoddily that I’m not surprised it fell out. Has anyone else had this issue? I ned avice, please. Who do I call? Is this a manufacturer issue or should I call the dealership where we purchased it? We can replace the glass mirror, but I’m worried about all of the others. There are similar mirrors on all of the closet doors and another above the toilet in the bathroom. One of the reasons we purchased this RV was because of the quality of the cabinetry. I’m so disappointed.

It's not a frequently reported problem. But I did have one almost fall out on our 2014 when the adhesive failed.

I'd suggest you contact your selling dealership to replace the mirror and repair the flooring. Most dealerships have flooring repair specialists and they can make the repair look like new. This should be covered under your initial bumper to bumper warranty. If you can't get into your dealership's service department, contact GDRV customer service at 574-825-9679 or customerservice@granddesignrv.com for guidance. If you contact GDRV for assistance, you'll need to have your VIN handy.

Rob Cate&Rob and I and Carol have had our 303s for a long time and this is the first time I have heard of this with the 303 regardless of year. It certainly could be a bigger issue affecting more units but it certainly has not been reported on the forums. This said, I do not do FB or other social media so it is possible that there have been other reports.

Good to hear no one (and your dog) were not injured GDRV/your dealer will certainly take care of your floor and mirror under the one year warranty.

Also, I was not aware a mirror cabinet above the toilet area in all prior years 303s. I will need to learn more and possibly install one in our vintage 303.
