  • Add USB ports

We have 2021 reflection 315RLTS with theater seating (heat, light, massage). Is there a way to add a USB port as there aren’t any in or near the chairs.

We didn't have USB ports in the seating in our Reflection, so we just had a power strip on the floor beside and plugged stuff into that. Our Solitude has USB ports in the seating control module - but the plug and cord would stick out into the seating area and get broken. We still use the power bar on the floor and plug stuff into it. My wife sits in those seats and typically plugs in at least two or three USB-compatible devices, so one USB outlet wouldn't help much anyway.

Good morning. We just purchased exteinsion cords that have USB outlets to power and recharge our devices. You should be able to plug one in to the outlet under the kitchen dinette or the end table on the back wall and route the cord to where-ever you want it. Maybe something similar to this:

If you're looking for a solution that would work while dry camping with no shore power, let us know, and I'm sure we can develop a solution.

One option is to replace the "RV" electrical outlet at the base of the end table with one that has USB ports (combo electrical/USB). It will require installing a box, though, as the "RV" outlets are not at all like the outlets in our homes.

This is what a typical "RV" outlet looks like:

If you're not familiar with working on electrical circuits this would be an easy job for an electrician or RV technician to install something like this:

inside a box like this (it would have to be a "deep" box or whatever it is called)

Oh my gosh, thank you - this is exactly what we will do and also change out the one by the table. Thank you!
