Recliners screwed to slide out ?

Hello all. So have. 2019 reflection 337 RLS. The recliners that sit in the slide out must have been screwed to the floor because it seems that screw came out and when the slide went out it did damage to the vinyl floor.

does anyone know if and where the screw goes to hold the recliners in place ?

does anyone know how or best way to repair or replace the vinyl floor ?

Denis - I think the screw mounting is dependent on the whim of the installer at the time.

As for repair, I know that most dealerships have specialists that can do vinyl repairs that are almost impossible to see. For a small spot, they may remove some vinyl in a hidden area like behind the basement storage. Then they patch in the repair. A talented vinyl repair tech can do a job that will be indistinguishable.

I will look for a repair guy rather then try it myself.

This old Solitude never had the recliners screwed to the floor. Even when they replaced the recliners at the 2019 rally they didn't get screwed down. They really don't move much when traveling, maybe an inch at the most.

I screwed mine down originally as well but found that the screws continued to come out and cause issues. I have decided to leave them out as the recliners hardly move anyway unless a really rough road.

My 2017 Momentum has L brackets on the big couch and screws through the love seat frame.

I removed the screws from our recliner base too. To keep them from traveling I screwed D-rings into the floor behind the recliners on each side then attached vinyl straps with buckle ends and pull it tight during transit. I cut a couple pieces of pool noodles about 10” long and put them on the straps where they contact the recliners so not to tear the material.
