Ok, I assumed it would be a piece of cake lowering the dinette table....2 clamps, open and push down. Nope. I must be doing something wrong. Never thought to ask the Dealer set up guy when we did our initial inspection. What am I doing wrong? And it's not mentioned in the trailer manual we got.

Although I’ve only lowered ours once just to see that it actually works, it did take a little pushing and wiggling the table top after I released both clamps.2010 Tundra SR5 DC 5.7L

When I feature/benefit for customers, I push straight down from the center of the table, it's basically like performing table CPR. Once lowered as far as possible, it will want to spring back up. I think it's better than removing a table top from 2 supports. You never know if the supports will stay in the floor or the table top.Scott M. Barlag, RV Product Specialist, NW Indiana

We find that if the table is being recalcitrant we turn it upside down on the dinette bench, it is not terribly heavy. That seems to save some of the growling and pinched fingers. Straight down works sometimes for us too.flyfshrockies, 2021 imagine 2600RB, Ford F-150, XLT supper crew 3.5 eco boost with max tow. Dave and Toni (and the awesome Aussie Bayley, he's the social one)
