Something fell out of a drawer and fell behind all the way to the floor. I can't figure out how to release the drawer from the rails to remove the drawer and retrieve what fell. How do I do that? There is no other way to reach the item.

Something fell out of a drawer and fell behind all the way to the floor. I can't figure out how to release the drawer from the rails to remove the drawer and retrieve what fell. How do I do that? There is no other way to reach the item.

Pull the drawer out as far as it will go. On the side of the rails, you'll find a black plastic retainer on each side. One will push up, and one down. While depressing the retainers, remove the drawer by pulling it straight out.
