  • Theater seating recliner broke

Our 2 year old GD2600rb has theater seating that recline with the pull of a handle down the side of the seat. While attempting to recline one day, there was a pop noise when the handle was pulled and the seat would not recline. Looking under the chair, there were springs and screws on the floor. Is there a specific replacement part for that device or does the entire chair need replacing? Plus is there any warranty on the furniture?

After 2 years I would guess the warranty has expired.

There has been some who have replaced the cable but I am not sure how. You may get some info by calling Lippert, they may even send you some parts if available.

The contact number for Lippert Customer Service is 574-537-8900. It sure wouldn't hurt to discuss this with them.

If you can get the parts your other chair can be used as a guide for what goes where.
