  • Adjusting Level to control water run off?

So my Imagine 2800BH, with the AC running, or when it's raining, the water runs off towards the front. I've raised the front to attempt to have the water run to the rear, but it seems I haven't added enough.

Before I go and stand in the rain some more, is this a common thing to do, try an have the water run off the rear?

With the gas absorption refer, be careful how much you tilt the camper. The refer should not be out of level more than 3 degrees left/right and 6 degrees front/back.

3 degrees side to side on an 8 foot wide rv = 5 inches.

6 degrees front to back on a 28 foot long rv = 35 inches

Very uncomfortable to camp in those situations.

3 degrees on the fridge would be about 1-1/4" from fridge door to back , based on a 24" deep fridge

6 degrees on the fridge would be about 2-1/2" from left to right looking at the fridge door , based on a 24" wide fridge.

      Still uncomfortable camping.

Getting the rain or condensation from the ac to run of the back may take an inch or two raise to the front to make this happen.

I can not say that this is normal or not may just be the way it is.

Mpking I do exactly that and it works fine for my situation. I have superglued an 8 inch level to the pass’gr side of the A frame mid way. When raising the front hitch I leave the right side of the bubble on the edge of the right line. For me, this is enough for everything to run off the rear and I’ve not experienced any negative consequences using this very non-scientific method.
        Good luck.
btw, off topic but we picked up a nail in the RR tire of the rig yesterday and wanted to give a shout out to AAA for the Great Service!

I do the exact same thing. Bubble on the edge of the line so it leans towards the back. I also do bubble on the edge of the line so it leans towards the road side. Has no effect on the refrigerator and can't tell when walking around on the inside. On top of that I always do my front stabilizers first. If not sometimes the stabilizers can change the level just enough to negate the bubble on edge of line.

On my 2600rb if I don't do that the ac runoff will drip on my head when going into my pass through storage.
