And this is another reason to make sure your LP gas detector is clean and still within it's useful life.

And test it...I use an unlit propane torch. I figure pushing the test button only tests the buzzer, not the gas cell.

All good points. A child playing in the camper and turning on the burners of an older unit without an FFD (flame failure device) feature is frightening. Like most all safety improvements such as rear cameras, TPMS and other features that today are on all autos, it always involves tragedy to make it happen. Shouldn't be this way.
