  • Broken Shelfs in Furrion 10 Cu Ft Fridge

We have been out with our 2022 Trailer out twice and I already have the corners of the middle shelf break in such a way as the shelfs will now slide down the slots (past the holders). There was 4 cans of pop on that shelf. Then when the can fell onto the bottom shelf, that cracked. Anyone else have this short shelf life?

Suggestions (beyond the crazy, no food when you travel idea the manual had it in) on if I should apply a glue to the bottom shelf crack? Is 4 can of pop considered heavy?

After we figure out what type of plastic it is, we might be able to bond a new stronger 'top' onto the shelfs edges which hold it up.

Hey Darren. That sure shouldn't break with just four 12 oz cans. If it were me, I'd call Lippert (Furrion) and talk to customer service at 574-537-8900 and inquire about replacements.

This seems to be a common problem. It happened to us and all our shelves broke. The materials of the shelf are way to brittle. We had to have our whole refrigerator replaced, so with the new shelves, we are very careful to only put light weight/softer things on the door shelves when traveling.

I have had this happen to me twice in two separate places. I have since fixed the broken pieces with epoxy and it hasn't broken again. I guess the epoxy gives it enough give to stay together.

I ended up Epoxying it back together and epoxy an additional plastic piece on top. It should be made this strong
