Recommendation of a weather station that hooks/unhooks from ladder?
We are looking for recommendations of a weather station that attaches and detaches (for travel) from ladder?
TIA.
I too, am looking for weather station I can easily install and remove for travelling. So far, I am leaning towards this setup and I will need to fashion my own mounting bracket.
Look at Ambient Weather.com, they have good weather systems that are wireless that could probably be adapted to a ladder. Most mount to a round pipe so would be easily adapted for a ladder mount. We use an Osprey at home in very harsh conditions and it is great.

This is not the exact one I have but it is similar. They have more complicated units as well. I used extra large zip ties to put a piece of conduit along the upper ladder rung and then the wind sensor slides over the pipe once we are setup. A couple of set screws tighten it down to the pipe. Uses WiFi to get weather forecasts on top of the sensor data.

You will probably have to fabricate the mount yourself but I see lots of Acurite 5 in 1's mounted on the ladder. I use the 5 in 1 along with their Access module and 6 remote sensors scattered around the rig.
The Access uploads the data to the web every 5 minutes and I can access it anywhere. https://www.acurite.com/shop-all/wea...onitoring.html

I've got one of these at the house: https://weatherflow.com/tempest-weather-system/ not too bad to setup as it grips the top of a pipe. You could tie the pipe to the ladder and roll with it.

Not a weather station but this is how I attached our cell booster antenna.
Nice, I was always going to do a tilting mount so I could put mine up higher but I just set it a little higher than the AC Andrew leave it there. It’s on a spring so I figured it would be fine being the tallest thing, but I see the benefit of the additional height.

May I ask for more details on that mount and where you got it?
Thanks
