Last four photos with final of what the coax will connect to. Top section comes off for traveling.

Great job Bill. Thanks for the tip of using a fishing rod.

Thanks, Brian. Not an actual fishing rod. That is just what they call these due to being fiberglass like an actual fishing rod.

Thanks, but an old fishing rod might just work as well. I have a few laying around that are no good.

What are you using there to hold the antenna on the bumper?

On my old TT I mounted the inside antenna in the middle of the coach and just ran the coax out the corner of the slide to the antenna outside. Like you, I took the directional antenna (and pole) up and down when traveling.
I did have trouble though, if I had to turn the directional antenna over the trailer (i.e. over the interior booster and antenna) the interference killed the signal. That's why I kept my antenna portable, I could just carry it around to the front instead of pointing it over the camper roof... Have you had that trouble?

Nice pictures of the setup, thanks.

Scott.n.Tira , thanks. The base is PVC that holds the 2" aluminum pipe. I have 8 half-circles at the top so I can use to have the main mast held in place by a screw. Honestly, I haven't used it enough to know if that will cause me trouble. I had run it through the slide to test and it was near pointing toward the internals but not entirely and it worked fine.
