How do you access the back of the tv for different connections hdmi, usb, etc.?. I've been told in another forum that you have to remove the fireplace to access the back of the tv. Is there another way? Can you remove the cabinetry that goes up/down with the tv to access the back.
Thanks,
Kenny
Kenny your best bet will be to remove the fireplace as this will be the least intrusive item to remove. Not sure on your exact fireplace, but on ours the glass front comes off by lifting from the edges straight up about 3/4 inch. This will expose a few screws on the flange holding the unit to the cabinet. Be careful adding cables to the TV to respect your lift mechanism. If possible, combine them into the loom that GD (hopefully) installed routing the power and antenna cables. Or you can zip tie them securely to the outside of the loom. Work the lift up and down fully a few times (have a helper push the switch) while you observe and confirm no interference. Good luck
