Is there a switch on the outside of my 385RK that turns the icemaker in the refrigerator on and off?

There should not be a power switch for on/off operation on the outside of the RV. There should be a valve under the slide to turn on/off the water supply.

    PS. welcome aboard.

Residential refrigerators have an on/off switch for the icemaker inside the freezer compartment on the icemaker itself. Turning off the water without turning off the icemaker could cause the icemaker to continue cycling without filling.

The 18cf Samsung fridge has a button on the control panel for turning the ice maker on/off. It looks like this (far left button):

In addition, there is a switch in the water panel (where you connect your hose to fresh water) to turn the water on/off for the ice maker. At least there was for our Solitude 373FB-R.

We have a 2021 Solitude 310GK-R. Cannot find how to turn on the water supply to the ice maker. Any ideas?

I have also learned that the valve for the ice maker is sometimes , in certain models , located on the nautilus panel for the water connections.

We have a 2020 MBS-R. Post #4 above shows the controls including shutting off the ice maker, located up high when the doors are open. But, I’ve not seen a separate water valve shut off in the Nautilus compartment. I did see a thread a month or so ago, saying there is a water valve under a drawer next to the fridge. We won’t be back to our unit until Nov, so can’t check. Turning off the ice maker using the fridge control should keep it from cycling, water on or not.

No, we don’t pull the Solitude, it’s permanently parked on our campsite in SW Fla.
