Has anyone installed an Ecoflow power kit into a Grand Design 2019/20 crossover? We want to install the power kit in the front bay compartment that was prewired for a generator. We live in a small town area off grid, so expert help is very limited to impossible to find. We are not going to use the Ecoflow distribution panel, but plug directly into RV. But where? We are stuck with the figuring out where to tie into the AC/DC. An “electrician “ attempted to assist us, but admitted he didn’t know what he was doing and if it would work. He attached the AC output cable, and suggested we try it. We paid him $50 to leave. We need the location of the DC. Any suggestions?

An Ecoflow power kit is basically a rechargeable battery pack with a 120 VAC output. As such, it is an alternate source of 120 VAC to your shore power cord . . . much as a generator would be. Thus, you may be able to use the generator prep connections . . . but, you do need to find an electrician or RV tech who understands this. How will you recharge the Ecoflow . . . Solar panels? or Shore Power connection? You should also consider what you plan to run on this battery pack because it may not provide as much power as you are expecting. This would be a calculation in amp-hrs or watt hours.

Good morning Aparsons.
We're probably going to need a little more information in order to try and help.
1. What model of GDRV do you have. For example, 2017 Reflection 303RLS fifth wheel
2. What is the model of Ecoflow power kit you're installing?
From there, we can attempt to pull up the Ecoflow manual which will help us guide you. If you have a link to the manual for your Ecoflow device, it would really help if you attached it here. We have some electrical engineers and electricians on this site, so once we have that info, we can probably make some educated guesses.
BTW, just looking at your photos, you have that adapter mounted right next to your battery which is a great source of DC power as long as you provide fuse or circuit breaker protection to the circuit.
