    Good morning. Installing an EC-30 auto generator start in our 2017 397th. Referencing the image below, where is the most reliable place to sense that shore power isn't being supplied to the coach?

    The shore power input of your transfer switch would be the 120v. Then it appears that leg needs to be connected to a 120v to 12v dc transformer.

      And from what I understand, the transformer needs to be installed before the transfer switch.

        Correct..That's why it goes on the shore power input side of the transfer switch.
