390rk r. Do I keep my inverter on during being hooked up to shore power, or is it to be turned off? If off, what charges the battery, or does the converter do that? Thanks.

A: I suggest leaving it on. Should shore power fail when you're away from the camper the inverter will take over and keep your food safe.
Q: If off, what charges the battery, or does the converter do that?
A: Yes, the converter charges your battery. A converter uses 120vAC to make 12vDC. An inverter takes 12vDC and makes 120vAC.
