    I know I'm a little late to the game, but I just joined.

    I use these in my garage. I don't see why not an RV. Just plug and play, plus inexpensive.

      The difference is most of the other mods are connected to a 12v source, so when boondocking (not connected to shore power) the USB additions are still powered by the battery bank.

      When connected to shore power, and if the location of the 120v outlet is convenient, you're absolutely right--the device you linked is an "Easy Button" option.
