  • Air Conditioner Model and Vendor for 2017 Imagine 2950RL

    Hi,
We are thinking of adding a hard start capacitor or similar so we can start our air conditoner with a generator. We are currently shopping for the generator and want to size it properly. We are hoping that the 2000W Honda eu2200i + hard start cap will work. Can anyone tell us the make and model of the single original air conditioner that was equipped on a 2017 Imagine 2950RL? I am fairly certain it is 15000 BTU but would like to look up the specs on it.
    Thx,
    C&G Petras

Noted this was your first post, so when you get a chance check out the Welcome Letter to New Members https://gdrvowners.com/forum/main-fo...to-new-members

At the top right on the menu bar is a link to the Grand Design Parts Lookup website. According to the site the unit on your rig is a Brisk II Air, a Dometic air conditioner. https://www.dometic.com/en-us/us/pro...ii-air-_-20674

However...Grand Design sometimes substitutes components as necessary. If you call Customer Service and provide your VIN a representative can look up your "build sheet" and confirm exactly what is on your trailer.

Finally, consider an EasyStart (versus a "Hard Start" capacitor). I documented the install on my unit if you're curious: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/operati...s-2019-315rlts

    Good luck, and again, welcome!
