So, in the 2400BH we have an AC plug in the entertainment center, but not a USB port. I wanted to add USB for device charging....as well as my camper media server project: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/operati...x-media-server
I ordered the USB plug from my dealership as a spare part. It has built in protection. I do not recall how much it was....but it was too much $$$. Would love to find the same part online. If anyone knows where to grab it, please let me know. I may do another in the future.
I ordered 100 feet of 14 gauge 2 pin 2 color (black and red) wire from amazon...but the link does not work anymore even under my order page. "Tyumen 100FT 14-Gauge 2pin 2 Color Red Black Cable Hookup Electrical Wire LED Strips Extension Wire 12V/24V DC Cable, 14AWG Flexible Wire Extension Co" was the title on Amazon. I went with this size wire based on the voltage an amperage using charts online.
I ran it down to the DC distribution panel in the entertainment center and installed in it's own spot and the ground to the common ground bar mounted on the floor behind the breaker/fuse panel. To access - I removed the radio/DVD player and already had put a hole in the panel (hidden) for the Touch 50 GX wiring). I tried running the wire down this hole...but it would not go....too flexible. I grabbed some paracord 550 and a handful of washer and used them as weights to pull my rope to the bottom and then pull the wire. I used some new push wire nuts I picked up at Lowe's a long time ago....used 3 and 4 slot ones in case I wanted to add another quickly to this install in the future or something else on this DC circuit at the bottom and taped it up well.

The push in wire connectors were very slick and very solid on the pull test...but I taped them up anyway.
Between the 10 amp fuse on the DC panel and the built in protection from the unit itself...I did not put any inline fuses etc. in.
Here are the before and after shots as well as product shots.
Other than running the wire...pretty easy install.
