    gabathey , I leave my OEM cord at home. For less $ than that reel, you can buy "superflex" 50 amp cords made by surge guard. They weigh about half what the OEM cord does, and are MUCH more flexible, especially when cold. I use a 15 foot cord more than 90% of the time, along with the 90 degree dogbone adapter mentioned by Rob. Only occasionally do I need to drag out the 25 foot cord. I have that powered cord reel in our Solitude and find it a pain to use. What I miss is the powered cord reel made by Shoreline, which was on our last 5er. It is a motorhome style unit with about 35 feet of cord. you only unwind what you need, and the inside end is wired directly to the RV. Just finished a 5000 mile plus trip and only used the long cord twice.
