Hard Wired Hughes Power Protector Feedback Wanted

So I'm about to purchase this unit, HUGHES AUTO Autoformers PWD30-EPO-H Power Watchdog Smart Bluetooth Surge Protector Plus EPO with Auto Shutoff - 30 Amp Hardwire Version but I have a concern. There are a number of negative reviews that state the unit makes a loud hum whenever in use (ie. trailer plugged in to shore power).

Does anyone have experience with this?

I am rather sensitive to noises and if this is true it may drive me crazy especially at night when trying to sleep.

I would go with a Progressive Dynamics unit but I really like the Bluetooth app the Hughes has.

Paul and Deb, I have a 50amp hughes autoformer but it is not a hard wired model. while it does have a slight hum I certainly wouldn't think you would be able to hear mounted under your floor. so far very happy with
my surge protector. love the app for keeping track of unit.
