  • No Heat - '18 315RLTS

We have a 2018 - 315rlts. The rear thermostat - we have it on auto, runs the a/c but the heat shows it should be running but the unit does not come on. Thoughts?

What type of thermostat is on the wall? A picture would be great.

Is the 315RLTS new to you? In other words, has it worked in the past but now is failing?

When you say "rear thermostat"--you mean the one in the bedroom? If that's the case, that thermostat does not control the furnace. Only the thermostat in kitchen controls the furnace.

Correct so possibly we have lose ductwork. There is heat coming from living and bath area ducts but not the bedroom one. Thank you so much.

We have owned it for a year and it worked before.

      will look for lose ductwork

OK--I did not understand the issue. So the furnace runs when commanded by the thermostat in the kitchen (as it is supposed to) but heat is not coming out of the duct in the bedroom. Is that accurate?

The ductwork from the furnace to the bedroom outlet is a relatively short run. Pull out the closet drawers and you'll see the ductwork where it connects to the bedroom outlet. The picture below is looking down. Note I added the insulation where the ductwork comes up through the floor.)

Yes correct. Thank you so very much! We have only been camping for a year, just retired and still very new to all of this. I do appreciate your help
