Just a guess that his may go in this section ....
So we've always traveled with a tabletop fan for sleeping and I've been dying to get rid of it. It takes up storage space and become part of the nightly routine to set up. I've been eyeing these Sirocco II 12v fans from Seekr, as a matter of fact I ordered one last year and sent it back because I couldn't decide where I wanted to mount it ...... problem solved! I bit the bullet and decided to drill a hole in my ceiling and run a fish from the doorway light (which has constant 12v) over to the hole and, voila, a 12v ceiling fan. It is totally adjustable with endless angles and provides plenty of air wherever we want it. BTW, the ceiling wood is surprising thick and the fan is extremely solid up there. Here's some pictures of the process. Pro-tip, remember to turn the 12v power off before disconnecting and connecting wires or you will blow a fuse.
