  • Heater doesn’t work at high altitudes

Last year we stayed at high altitude of 8,000 and our heater didn’t work. We heard we needed to make adjustments to our system but unsure what to do and can’t find it in the forum. Thanks!

Your propane on your RV is set to work in 'most ' places. At high altitudes your air/fuel mixture will be out of whack. Air is thinner etc. To get it to work in both high and low places, you will need an adjustable air shutter.

Year and model of your GDRV?

Model of the furnace in your rig?
