  • Thermostat Wiring

I relocated my thermostat (Airxcel) on my 297RSTS away from the hutch heat source. I thought I had noted correctly the wiring BUT my furnace now will not run. AC works fine. Anyone have the color codes or a pic of how the Tstat is wired? I cannot believe I did this duh!

Have you tried contacting Airxcel with your T-state model number? https://www.airxcel.com/

I have the Dometic, otherwise i would take a picture for you.

I guess it'll depend on what wire GD had on hand at the time.

        I've seen picts with:

        T-stat
        R -- Red
        B -- Blue
        GL -- White
        GH -- Green
        Y -- Yellow
        -
        W -- Orange = Furnace

        and

        T-stat
        R -- Red
        B -- Blue
        GL -- Brown
        GH -- Green
        Y -- Yellow
        -
        W -- White = Furnace

        and

        T-stat
        R -- Red
        B -- White
        GL -- Orange
        GH -- Brown
        Y -- Yellow
        -
        W -- Green = Furnace
