  • 2016 Solitude Grand Design fireplace blower

My 2016 Solitude Grand Design fireplace started making a loud noise this morning. Its almost like a squeal, but just not there yet. Has anyone had to change the blower out?

Welcome retired trooper , I have moved your post to the HVAC section of the technical side of the forum.

I have not replaced a blower but have had my fireplace out. Pretty simple to remove the fireplace. There are plenty of screws on the back and I believe a small cover on top that should yield access to the blower.
I am not sure if a blower is something that would be available on amazon or something similar.

If you have the Greystone fireplace that GD was using at that time, the innards are very easy to get to. I'm not sure you'll be able to get the parts for this piece of Chinese, uh, equipment. We had one go out completely and GD sent us a replacement - but that was several years ago.
