  • Gage and faucet acting as dry but tank isn’t

Got a question. I’ve got a 2022 278bh that shows the water gauge as empty and the toilet, faucets and shower all burp air like they are dry and the pump acts as if it’s starved. However when I go to the fresh water dump valve to see if it’s really empty I get about 20 gallons of water out of it (basically half the tank). This issue starts usually about mid tank usage. Any ideas on the issue? I’m thinking the pickup line is too high in the tank but short of dropping the belly cover I can’t confirm.

The pump may be sucking in air. Check that the pump filter is tight.

Unless they changed something the pick up line is the same as the fill line and is located in a small sump in the tank, about a 1" protrusion in the bottom of the tank located at the drain.
