  • Kitchen Faucet Hot/Cold Handle Loose

The kitchen faucet handle (approx. 3" long rod) that is used to select hot or cold water has come loose. It is threaded and should tighten back up to the base that rotates to the hot/cold position but will not. Looking for suggestions on how to repair or replace a part without buying new faucet.

Also does anyone know the manufacturer, model, part number for the kitchen faucet on the 2022 231RK? I look on the GD website replacement parts list and no information on faucets.

    Thanks,
    Les

It seems that either the threaded end of the rod has stripped, or the threads in the socket have. You might be able to chase the threads on the rod and get some grip or re-tap the socket. But either one will likely require increasing the diameter of the threaded portion of the rod. IMHO your best choice would be a new faucet.
