Fresh water dump valve freezing

Anyone else has issues with the fresh water tank dump valve freezing? This is left exposed when using the fresh tank in winter weather. Anyone find a solution?

Welcome to our owners technical forum.

There are foam insulating cups (normally used for residential outside faucets) that could be used to insulate the water tank drain. Dumping the fresh water tank in sub-freezing weather is not something that I recall ever being discussed on this forum.

Is the freezing occurring with the tank heaters on?

No tank heaters. Just the typical extended season enclosed underbelly with duct heating. I’ll try the insulated cup and see if that works. Thanks for the replies.
