  • Kitchen drain clogged - Imagine 2670MK

Second trip out with our Imagine 2670MK and kitchen sink won't drain. Took off elbow and nothing in it but water. How do I go about clearing the drain? Are there seals or something that might have broken of and gotten in the way? Can a plunger be used?

Good afternoon and welcome to the technical forum. I do have a question. Are you 100% sure that your gray holding tank for the kitchen area is not full?

It is reading empty and we haven't used the kitchen grey enough to be full. Bath grey was reading 2/3's after 4 days.

The gauges are notoriously inaccurate. Mine reads 1/3 all the time whether it's full or empty. As a quick check, I'd recommend the following.

        1. Measure how full the back up is in the sink.
        2. Open the drain pipe by removing the cap.
        3. Place a large bucket under the drain pipe.
        4. Pull the drain handle and allow the bucket to fill.
        5. Close the drain handle
        6. Measure the level in the sink.

If it's gone down, the tank is full. If not, we can help help you trouble-shoot the plumbing.

I know you may have drained it recently. But if there was a blockage in the drain, it may not have completely emptied.
