When To Winterize, High Desert East Of The Cascades
We lived in Bend and Sunriver for many years. I always winterized by the end of October. We've seen snow in October more than once. Better to be safe than sorry. Realistically though, it doesn't really get that cold generally until November. If you don't have a washing machine or dishwasher, it only takes 5 minutes to winterize so if you need to un-winterize for a late season trip, it's not a big deal.

I live east of the Cascades , about 2000 miles . I usually winterize at the end of October after our last campout. Winterizing is easy as bertschb has stated above. It is the worst time of year putting the camper away for the winter.
